So much for my Happy Ending!

funny gifs
Yes, Happy Dance! :D
So well, do you know that amazing feeling? When a new year brings along happiness, good luck, a million other good things and most important, a lost friend, who you thought would never return?

Yes, I'm happy. I'm very happy. Not only because I got my best friend back, but because we've forgotten all our differences and started over new. Not only because I actually realised how much she cares about me, but also because I'm happy that she's happy now.

I love you.
I won't ever leave you again. EVER

The Mark Of Athena.

So in the previous book, The Son of Neptune, Percy with a forced amnesia (by Hera, of course), found himself in a new place. He found himself in Camp Jupiter. He was among Roman Demigods and was soon sent on a quest with Hazel Levesque (daughter of Pluto) and Frank Zhang (son of Mars) to help defend themselves from the Earth Goddess, Gaea, and her vicious forces.

In the next book, 'The Mark Of Athena', Percy gets his memory back and gets reunited with his girlfriend, Annabeth Chase.
'The Prophecy of the Seven' quest begins in this book and the chosen seven- Percy Jackson (son of Poseidon), Annabeth Chase (daughter of Athena), Jason Grace (son of Jupiter), Piper McLean (daughter of Aphrodite), Hazel Levesque (daughter of Pluto), Frank Zhang (son of Mars), and Leo Valdez (son of Hephaestus) begin their quest. They have to rescue Hazel's brother, Nico from the Giants, find the Doors of Death, fight a lot of monsters and bring the Romans and Greeks together to defeat Gaea and her minions. Annabeth here, has been assigned with her own personal quest, to find out about the legend of the Mark of Athena and follow where it leads to. A significant part of the story takes place on Argo II, a ship designed by Leo Valdez.
Out of the seven, six of the demigods are in relationships with each other (Percy-Annabeth, Jason-Piper and Frank-Hazel) which gives this story a touch of drama, but I'm thankful it isn't overdone.
Even Tyson, Percy's half-brother and Ella, a red harpy, though an unusual couple are said to be in love with each other though they aren't a significant part of the book.

The story unwinds slowly, leaving the reader in a thirst to know what is going to happen next.
Well, I was reading the book till two hours past midnight and was so anxious to know what happened next. I just couldn't stop. And the end, MY GOD, THE END. I just couldn't stop after that too! I just had to think of what was going to happen next. I guess all the information I've given you is just enough. If you haven't read the book till now, PICK IT UP RIGHT NOW, AND READ IT.

P.S. You may not understand the book unless you've read all the books in the 'Percy Jackson' and 'Heroes of the Olympus' series, so I suggest you read those awesome books too!

What Girls Are Like

                          Girls are like
                 apples on trees. The best
ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys don't want to reach for
the good ones because they are afraid
of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they
just get the rotten apples from the ground
that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples
at the top think something is wrong with
them, when in reality, they're amazing.
They just have to wait for the right
boy to come along, the one
                who's brave enough
                       to climb up
                   all the way
                   to the top
                   of the tree.

I found this really cute. Source: www.phocks.org/stumble/girlsarelike.php (:

I Believe in Pixies♡

Love is when a puppy licks your face- even after you've left her alone all day :).

Pixie is probably the best that I can ever ever have. She's a puppy, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a care-taker, a teddy bear and so much more all wrapped into one tiny little 'SHE-IS-SO-CUTE-I-WANT-TO-EAT-HER-UP' package.

This maybe my shortest blog post ever, but I don't think I need to say much.
I Believe in Pixies. Do you? (:

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

'What is love?' is the most clichéd yet one of the most difficult questions asked by mankind. It is  hard  to answer because one can never explain love. You feel it, experience it and enjoy it. Everyone has different experiences which cannot be compared with each other. I asked a couple of friends what love meant to them. I got many answers, all of which meant different things.A friend quoted Shakespeare from his play, 'As You Like It' and said:
Love is to be all made of sighs and tears, It is to be all made of fantasy, It is to be all made of faith and service, All made of passion and all made of wishes, All adoration, duty, and observance, All humbleness, all patience and impatience, All purity, all trial, all observance.'

Another friend said, 'It isn't only about the love between a girl and a guy. Love is also the feeling you get when your mom hugs you when you're down. When your friend completes homework for you even though their busy. It's when your sister saves you from trouble even when she isn't talking to you. It's when your dad doesn't say anything even though you haven't lived up to his expectations. That is what love is about.' And yes, it is. It's all about sacrifice and interdependence.

Love has different definitions in the worlds of different people. Either impersonal or interpersonal, everyone does love at least once in their entire life. And the outcome, whether good or bad, only time can tell. I've heard many people say love hurts. 'Love is very unexpected. But when it hits you, it HITS you in the face.' That's what another friend said. Which is why I believe that love needs to be handled with care. Once broken, you can never bring the pieces back together. But at the same time, many people have lived through the fights and stuck together no matter how wrong times were.

'Love is beyond the flirting, kissing and cuddling. It is the feeling you feel for each other without these.' That's what a very close friend said to me and I don't think any person who genuinely loves someone would deny this. Love needs to be pure and chaste. Loving someone else for their materialistic gains isn't love. One should know that there is a difference between impersonal and interpersonal love.
Quoting what another person said, 'It's the most retarded, genuine and intense emotion one can ever feel.' Everyone feels at some point of their life they may be crazy to love something/someone, and sometimes the whole world may think they're crazy for doing so. But they still know it's worth it. Love is not giving up even the whole world is against you.

'Hum ek baar jeete hai. Ek baar marten hai, Shaadi bhi ek hi baar karte hai aur pyaar bhi ek bar hi hota hai.' Meaning, 'We all live once, die once, we all get married once and lastly, fall in love only once.' When my friend told me this, I couldn't stop smiling. It is very true indeed. True love can only be experienced once in a lifetime. I'd like to finally end this post by quoting my sister. She said: 'Love is true and unconditional.
Everyone deserves to be loved.'
Credits to all my friends (and sister): Sonali, Veronica, Vedika, Aakanksha, Naman, Akshay and Aarti. I couldn't have done this without you all :*.
And ofcourse, Mohit who says: "Love is a thingy.'' :D
